Wine Soft Yarn - Small Ball (4 - Medium) by Red Heart

One of the skeins was a slightly different color than the rest. Was hardly noticeable, as I didn’t notice until my end photos. Adds character, but was off put at first a bit because I didn’t plan that.

The yarn is soft and warm and easy to work with, and it doesn't split. It is working up beautifully into a crocheted afghan. The colour is much redder than it appears in the picture on my screen, but it is actually a better match for my furniture, so I don't mind! The only concern I have is that I wanted a machine washable yarn, and the washing instructions on the outside of the label say to machine wash and dry -- but the instructions on the inside of the label say to wash by hand if you are making a fringe. Since I plan to put a fringe on the afghan, I am a bit disappointed. I definitely won't be washing it by hand, so hopefully the fringe won't ravel.

I got this yarn as a complete beginner with size 8 needles and I loved it! Beautiful color (although a bit of a brighter red than shown in the picture), and very soft. I did find it a bit fuzzy at times which I think is bound to happen for a beginner. The delivery was quick too, will be getting all my other knitting items here :)

Lovely to work with. Soft, feels warm, becomes a little 'fuzzy' while knitting something that takes a while to make( like a long scarf). Altogether a nice yarn to work with if. Wool would be nicer if allergies did not prevent its use. I also made a long scarf with the same wool in black - very good results.

Love this yarn, making an afghan with it in strips with white. Very outstanding with the white. Very soft, easy to work with, and doesn't split. Highly recommend it.
