Classy beautiful toques and scarves this Christmas
I love this product and all the blanket yarns by bernat. Last year everyone got an afghan - blanket sized. It took a little finessing of patterns but this year I made toques, scarves and slippers for everyone. This vintage white yarn was perfect for the ladies on my list. They loved them! So cozy, warm and soft. Next, I'm going to try winter sweaters and coats. They wash like a dream and hold their shape beautifully. Such a versatile yarn!

Always use
I crochet blankets constantly. Depending on size I need so many of what ever colour I am using or pattern but I can't find it always in the store. I use vintage white white in almost every blanket even if it is just a trim all the way around so I can add a nice edging in a thinner yarn that matches blanket .

love this yarn for blankets due to soft texture however there are 2 to 3 knots in each ball. the last order not only had knots but 3 of the 6 balls had several small pieces from 2 to 6 inches stuffed in the centre.. possibly to reach weight requirement however this was enough to make me short for one row on my project. very disappointing as I really like the yarn

Upset
I have used the bernat blanket yarn many times, I was upset having a ball that had 4 knots ( joins ) within as soon as 3 double crochet of starting and took it apart restarted after cutting out a second knot , to proceed to having another 2 knots again in the same row and again in the next row ... Also bought some Royal blue and it had 3 knots in a ball ...Maybe I just received the crappy ends but at $10. Plus a ball I would like to be compensated for these terrible balls of yarn !!!!
