Great wool for the price
Was looking for affordable wool and this is exactly that. Although it wasn’t exactly what I was hoping for, it is still really nice wool to work with. I was hoping for quite a bulky yarn, but I’d say this is more a size 4 than a 5 compared it next to some Bernat worsted yarn I had and it was the same size. Also, the photo shows this particular colour (tarnish) as kind of a faded brown, but it’s really just a grey. Nonetheless, was able to adjust my project to the smaller size and am happy with it. Would buy again. Great customer service too. Had emailed before ordering and all my questions were answered within the hour.

Hard to beat
It is not the softest wool, but I wouldn't call it scratchy. It's not the hardest wearing wool, but I wouldn't call it delicate. It's right there in the middle. A good hardworking 2-ply multipurpose yarn. It's actually a heavy worsted/aran weight not bulky. Stitch-definition is extraordinary. Yardage is AMAZING. Price is very reasonable. These undyed colors are beautiful. Tarnish especially so. I've had people stop and tell me what a lovely color this is, which is kind of absurd for something that's essentially a medium grey. There is something about it though.
