Solidly built and easy on the eyes
This was my first foray into drop spindles and I do believe I made a good choice. I've spun many many many many oz of merino wool on it, toted it in my purse, sat on it, let my kids try it - and it's still holding up beautifully. I would definitely recommend this as a first drop spindle. I'll also acknowledge that I've never used any other drop spindle in my life, but if you are after something sturdy that totally works - this is it.
