So glad I bought this. Waffled back and forth between 32” and 48”. This was the right choice. Always speedy deliveries from Yarn Canada with no glitches.

Great design and beautiful wood
I was thrilled to receive my 32” rigid heddle loom. I love it so far. The construction and design are top notch. The wood is a beautiful hard wood. Used bees wax on it and it looks amazing.

Very easy to set up and to get starting
The product came in a very nice box nicely wrapped and safe. It was fairly easy to set up following the instructions and following the images in the manual.I was also able to make my first scarf using the instructions manual on how to weave for the first time, set up was easy as was described in the document and I am fairly pleased with the product. I was able to weave something by my own without any tutorials. Its that easy. after I bought the loom and received it, I decided to go and look at videos on YouTube for how to make different patterns and how to weave different textures and I was a happy to see that there's a lot of information out there to help us learn by ourselves, so I am overall I'm very happy about the product and I do recommend.

Decent value for money
This loom is fairly easy to put together, but pushing the dials down on the cogs is very hard. The apron bar “cords” are made of cheap plastic, which is a shame. It makes the bars hard to maneuver. Additionally, the booklet that explains the weaving process is extremely limited. It does not tell you that you warp the loom from the back rather than the front, which is an oversight in my opinion. As well, it should give a close up of how the warp is wound onto the back roller. If you wind it in the wrong direction , the cogs don’t work properly and you won’t be able to sustain tension on your project. Overall, this loom is a decent value for money but it definitely has some drawbacks.

Nice Loom
Easy to assemble and easy to use. I like that you can use 2 heddles with this loom and that it comes with warping sticks.

New Weaver
As a new weaver I was a bit intimidated about setting up the loom for the first time. But this was very easy to assemble. Be aware the wood is unfinished and you are required to wax all the pieces before assembling. The wax is not included. If you do not have paste wax around (which I’m sure most don’t) I would recommend going out and buying this before your expected delivery date and you’ll be all ready to assemble and start weaving!
