Really Beautiful
I bought this to weave one of my first projects. I was a bit skeptical but I’m using it for both warp and weft. It is really lovely. Not finished yet but pleased so far. It’s thinner than a true worsted. But it’s working for me and I like it.

Not a true worsted or medium or A
Absolutely scrumptious yarn, with a bit of a nubbly texture, but it is lighter than a medium. I made a happy, colourful poncho but it is more decorative than cozy.

Lighter than a 4
This yarn has nice colour in it but find the weight more like a lace weight. So made i my a shawl is surely a summer decorative shawl without any warmth to it.

Lovely, but...
I love the way the colours of this yarn seamlessly transition. However! I ran into a knot created during the manufacturing process that quite abruptly changed what colour I was working with (from a dark blue to a bright purple). It was a little jarring, and totally ruined that seamless gradient. I had to unravel some of the line I was working on, to try to hide the abrupt change from the end product. Bit dissapointing. Otherwise a pleasure to work with.

Easy to knit with
Soft texture, gorgeous colours. I made a shawl and it is my go to. Lightweight and because of the cotton content will go right through spring and early summer.

Great yarn for a quick but beautiful gift.
This yarn makes a beautiful shawl in jewel tone colours with just one ball. It is easy to use and knits up fairly quickly. It comes with a link for different pattern options. The results are a soft, medium weight shawl that makes a great gift.

Weaving
I use the Shawl In A Ball yarn to weave yardage for garments. It works really well if I use a wider dent reed so the yarn doesn’t stick or frey. I like the way the yarn weaves up, the texture, colors and how it washes. There is some shrinkage but I allow for that when planning my project.

Colourful shawl
I love the colours in this yarn. It is also quite soft & will make a beautiful shawl.
