Lovely to Work With
This yarn is so easy to knit up. It's "hard"; that is, it doesn't fuzz and the plies don't split. I love the woolly feel and the colours. Although Heritage is an Aran wieght, it shows up textured patterns, such as those used for a gansey beautifully.

Made for mittens!
Making mittens and hats for winter with this colourful, rugged wool. Love supporting Canadian companies and using the same wool my grandmother and great grandmother used to make winter wear for us as kids. Warm wool, warm memories!

Didn't actually get red heather
I love Briggs' products. I used to work in Fredericton and have visited the mill on many occasions. This yarn is excellent and works up very nicely. It can have quite a bit of "nature" in it ... which makes it a bit scratchy - and tedious if you attempt to pull out the bits. But truly, it is an excellent product, that produces very good looking results. I did order red heather, but received plain red. THere is *quite* a difference between these colours. I do prefer the heathered ones, but will keep this true red. I think it will be ok for the project I had in mind.
