Plummy Soft Yarn - Small Ball (4 - Medium) by Red Heart

Used this for a set of fingerless mitts and bandana style cowl. So soft for the neck.

This yarn is such a pretty colour and so soft it's making me impatient to finish the blanket I'm currently working on, so I can dive into this yarn.

Lovely looking yarn with varigated tones of my favorite color but I just started knitting a cardigan yesterday with it and casting 146 stitches was not pleasant because it splits constantly and you have to redo almost every stitch once or twice.

I normally stay away from Red Heart as I find their yarn of he poorest quality but in this case that isn't true. I found their Soft Yarn just that...soft. Makes an excellent afghan. While there are still some issues with splitting, I've worked with worse. All in all I would definitely use this yarn again but I should say I haven't as yet washed my project. On the down side is the price. I managed to get this on sale the first time I ordered it but had I of paid full price for the whole afghan it would have been ridiculous.

Absolutely love the colour and the texture. I ordered it to knit an afghan, and I am really happy with it. I usually prefer cables with solid coloured yarn, but this really looks lovely.

I find this yarn to be lovely and soft, easy to knit with but ... you have to be careful not to split the yarn which can happen very easily. The colour "Plummy" is beautiful!

The yarn is soft which is what \i want when making a baby blanket. Easy to work with. Colour was perfect as it showed off the main colour of the blanket. Would use this yarn again for another project and colour too.
