Pipsqueak yarn - pixie pow
Very easy, soft yarn to knit with. The colours - lilac and lime result in a beautiful pattern. I got around the problem of knitting with just the fuzzy yarn by adding another non- fuzzy yarn and blending the two together. End result is a soft weighted, very cozy blanket. I am very tempted to make another one!

Pipsqueak for Baby
Pixie Pow is pretty mauve and light lime green. It is so soft, so pretty, and so perfect for baby. However, knitting with fuzzy yarn may mean that extra stitches are picked up accidently and need to be deleted to keep work even. Fuzzy stitches are sometimes difficult to see by seasoned knitters. HINT TO KEEP THE STITCH COUNT CONSTANT is to place stitch markers at regular intervals to make counting easier. For example, cast on 70 stitches, place marker at 20, 20, 20, and 10. You can count a section at a time to make sure that there have not been extra stitches picked up. If you roll each skein into a ball, you can find knotted yarnends. It is better to join yarn at the ends of rows. Knowing where the yarn ends, means you won’t have to knit back to beginning of the row to star more yarn.
