Orchid Silk Bamboo - Softest Yarn Ever
This yarn is soft and is the only yarn I can wear directly on my skin. The drape of the garment is beautiful as is the colour. I have a some concerns: 1.) Stretching, while the drape of the garment is wonderful there was a lot of stretch. The ribbing in the cuffs became totally floppy and the length of the body increased by several inches. 2.) Pilling/fuzzing - after wearing the garment once spots on the sweater looked worn or like something had been rubbing on it making it all fuzzy - almost like some velcro had rubbed on it. 3.) Laundering the garment was difficult and cannot be put in the dryer. I'm on the fence if I buy more ... it's soooo soft though!

So soft
Fun to knit

Great for neck ties
I'm used to making neck ties with worsted weight yarn and this obviously goes slower but the result is such a fine fabric. The yarn is a bit splitty, and I had at least 1 knot in every ball ( which is especially annoying when doing lace work) but the result is wonderful

Soft and smooth
A lovely deep purple colour. The texture is just beautiful to work with. It's soft and smooth.

Excellent Yarn
This was just what I was looking for to make a cardigan for the summer. I had had the same yarn earlier in the year for another cardigan which turned out excellently, so I didn't hesitate to order this batch. I does have a tendency to "split" so you need to look out for that.

Absolutely beautiful
I seriously love this yarn. The colour is gorgeous and exactly as pictured! So lush and vibrant! This is the fastest I've ever finished a sweater because the yarn is just so wonderful to work with. Glides across the needles (I used bamboo circulars) and the yarn is so soft. My sweater has lace in the sleeves and the drape is fantastic. I love the fact that it's also very forgiving - sweater could stretch from a size S to M without issue. Makes it extremely comfortable :) Definitely worth the price!
