Ready to go
- portable
- 4 ratios
- assembled and lacquered
- carry bag included
This compact wheel is light weight (6kg/13lb) and portable with folding treadles, built-in lazy kate and carry handle. Fold and go – it can be carried easily in cars, as carry-on luggage in planes (check with your airline first as this varies from aircraft to aircraft) and takes up little space at home. Spin a variety of yarns using the four ratios. The stretchy drive cord does not require any adjustment as you change from one ratio to another and always maintains the correct tension. The wheel and flyer are mounted on ball bearings for effortless spinning. Smooth and quiet with treadles mounted on polyurethane hinges to allow a comfortable heel-toe action. The wheel comes assembled and lacquered, ready for spinning.

Joy 2 is a delight to spin on
I bought this wheel as a gift for my sister. I have been a spinner for many years and I knew this would be the right wheel for her to learn to spin on and she absolutely loves it.

Great wheel and customer service
I am so pleased with this wheel. While I am new to spinning, the materials from Ashford had me up and spinning very quickly. Shipping from yarncanada.ca was great- the wheel came as expected, with tracking, and was packaged well. I am very satisfied with both the product, as well as the service received.

Good wheel
I purchased this wheel for my partner, these are her thoughts: "This is my first wheel, and though it is a bit fast for a newbie, I managed fine. My only real complaint is an intermittent clicking noise I haven't been able to pinpoint. Another slightly annoying thing is that when folded, the additional bobbins on the built in lazy Kate need to be empty or the wheel doesn't fold completely closed. I do also wish the carrying case had backpack straps instead of only a single strap, but I might just install that myself if I want them in the future. It suits me and the types of yarn I prefer to spin, so regrets on this being my first wheel."
