Good and firm
I’m loving the yarn so far. Unlike my other wool yarn wherein it was starting to burn my fingers from running through them all day, this yarn has been a relief to knit with. The 5-ply makes it very firm and strong which I think would make it perfect for items where you want to retain some shape instead of a drape. Warning for my fellow beginner knitters: I thought it was a center-pull cake so I pulled out some strands from the center. Guess what? It’s not! And the individual strands themselves tear easily! Also, not realizing the obvious, I thought the single strand was the yarn (since the plys are unwoven together) so I started knitting with a single strand and was disappointed at how weak these strands were to knit. Then I realized that you pull the 5 separate strands together, which in turn makes it quite a strong yarn since the material clings to fibers like nobody’s business (at least much more than my other wool yarn).

Awesome wool... unspun and five strands!!
Each unit comes individually packed which helps to keep it clean. Do note that this is unspun wool- each strand can break easily but the five strands give it strength. It has a genuine rustic feel and has slight sheep smell which is adorable!! The best part is that it is Canadian wool from a Canadian company and sold by a Canadian shop- absolutely loved the 100% Canadian experience... :-))

Beautiful yarn
Gorgeous deep colour and lovely lofty consistency. Knits up quickly. One of my favourite yarns.
