Old classic, reliable for mittens and other winter wear
Affordable, soft, and comes in many colours. This is my favorite yarn for mittens and winter hats. It does pill somewhat for larger items like sweaters, but I like the feel of the knitted product, and the fact that it can be fulled or felted easily.
