Rich and Mellow
For sturdy knitwear, Redheart has always been one of the most satisfactory yarns I have used. Having access to any yarn through Yarn Canada, I still chose Redheart. This particular Forest Green is a beautiful colour, a very rich shade and as the name goes reminds one of the forest. It is being knit into an Irish cable sweater and is worth using in this intricate pattern . I may not be an expert but have some fifty years experience knitting.

Slightly disappointed with quality
I use this brand all the time and usually don't have any problems. However, 3 of the 5 skeins I've used already had some kind of flaw. There were several times where I had to cut out large chunks because the yarn was all pulled apart or balled up on itself. There were also times where there were about 3 knots very close together. I expect to find a few knots here and there but it seemed like way more than usual. The colour was great and I still would repurchase this item but I was just a little bummed that this particular bunch had more flaws than usual. Hopefully the rest aren't so bad.
