Lion Brand Jeans Yarn
I just love this yarn! It is the softest acrylic I've worked with. I would consider it between a 3 and a 4 weight. It splits sometimes, but the softness and the finished sweater make it all worthwhile. If you're looking for a quick and easy sweater pattern, I used the Lil Denim Cardi pattern from Sewrella which is free on her website. I added long sleeves and it's a nice lightweight open cardigan for late summer and early fall. I hope Lion Brand keeps this yarn and adds more colours.

Jeans Yarn
I love the feel of this yarn, it is so soft, and almost cotton like, yet it is 100% acrylic. I got the light, medium and dark blue denim colors, and also the top stitch color which is an orange. I haven’t washed it yet so can’t speak to that. I did find it seems a lighter worsted weight than most, just to be aware if you are mixing different brands in a project.

Wish I could have given a 5
Lovely color and very soft. However, it is more like a #3 yarn than a 4. I'm using it for an Antler cardigan by Tin Can Knits. I've 2 before from Simply Soft and they turned out beautiful. I hope it turns out because the special lady I am making the sweater for really likes this color.
