Very Nice Cotton Yarn

Awesome yarn
Beautiful mercerized cotton to crochet with. It is not too too shiny for what I need. I was looking for that colour specifically and I took a chance ordering online and I was very happy when I open the box. The delivery was so fast too. I am looking to buy more of that brand. Not too stiff as well.

I'm fussy about the cotton I knit and crochet. I like to see it before I buy. But what is available is the stores in my nearest town is such a poor quality that I had to order "blind". From the description and the reviews I felt confident enough to order (and if not I could return it!). I am not disappointed. It is a great cotton. The test came when I knitted a swatch, unpicked it, then did it again and knitted the final project with it. It still looked as fresh as the rest of the ball.

24/7 Very stiff to crochet with...
I see I am the "odd" reviewer for this product. I've never worked with mercerized cotton. This feels rough and doesn't slide easily on a crochet hook. It's work to make stitches at any kind of pace. Probably great to make dishcloths but don't think the summer weight top I am making is going to turn out very nice with this kind of cotton. Hoping a washing will soften it a bit. Always trying new yarns and didn't know what to expect....but don't think I'd use again.
