Perfect yarn for knitting earlap hats for Hydro workers or anyone working or playing outside in winter.

Beautiful yarn
I’ve been put off by so many different yarns with knots in the ball. But so far, I’m on my 3rd ball and no knots. The yarn is nice and soft. A joy to work with.

sweater for my son-in-law
Patons Roving Bulky Yarn has been great for the heavy jacket-style zippered sweater I am making for my son-in-law. Both the dark grey and the black are equally good. I did have to be careful not to yank on the wool as it will break if handled roughly. Being an experienced knitter, I did not encounter any problems with breakage. I wish it came in a few more shades 0f light grey, though.

Sweaters for my son &3 grandkids...
... I used this yarn for a pattern found in a Patons pattern booklet that I’ve had for quite a while. It has cables on the front and back with stocking stitch and on the sleeves the cable extends right up to the saddle shoulder. It’s a great style and this grey will be wonderful on these four as they’re all blond haired and blue eyed! I’m quite excited to hear from them on Christmas Day!!!! I’m tracking their parcel with Purolator and it looks as though it will be delivered tomorrow. That’s good news! This is a terrific yarn. I’ve used different colours for mitts and toques and they’ve worked out well too.
