Soft and pretty yarn
This is a pretty yarn with a bit of a sheen to it. Strands are not very tightly woven so sometimes needle catches but overall very nice. It has two colors intertwined - blue and green - to give it a lovely color.

Lovely yarn
I've used this is 3 colours, now. It's quickly become a favourite. Pros: The colours are visually interesting, with a nice sense of dimension. The yarn itself is quite soft! Borderline baby soft, even. Perfect for a sweater, even for a picky kid. I didn't have any trouble with the yarn splitting on my hooks. Cons: I did have trouble with a couple of the balls (2 out of 12 balls, both in his colour) where the yarn had a lot crazy knots, some of which had to be cut. I've found the best way to avoid hassel with these is to always start from the outside. Most knot trouble I found was near to the middle, so, starting fromthe middle can doom your whole ball to The Basket Of Shame

SO soft!
The yarn is incredibly soft and is working up nicely. I do have to keep an eye on it as it can split, but I will definitely buy it again. The colour is more vibrant, rich and brighter than it shows on my monitor - truly a lovely colour. The two tones give a nice depth. I'm almost through my first ball and there haven't been any knots or joins. I'm making a shawl, but an afghan would be super cuddly made in this yarn.

Truly Beautiful Yarn!
The folks at Lion Brand have outdone themselves with this exquisite line of yarn, inspired by picturesque American landmarks. I couldn't find this particular shade (171 Cuyahoga Valley) at any retail outlets, and was delighted to discover it at YarnCanada at a very competitive price. Pictures do not do it justice; it is simply gorgeous! I have used Heartland yarn extensively and it's very easy to work with, ideal for blankets, afghans, and articles of clothing. And thank you, YarnCanada, for your prompt, right-to-the-door, delivery -- which was free with my order over $45.00. Highly recommend!
