Coconut Scrubby Yarn (4 - Medium) by Red Heart Yarn

Received yarn and quickly knit a dish cloth. This yarn is rough enogh to scrape soiled dished, but soft enough to keep hands smooth. I will certainly be making some Xmas Stocking dish rags for my friends.

I actually ordered this for a friend who didn’t have Internet. She was very pleased with yarn and quick delivery. She made back scratchers for people who can’t reach their back and live alone. Well appreciated.

I love this yarn and find it easy to work with. However I wish there was the same quantity in both types. I did not realize when I ordered that one yarn was cotton and one was not. The cotton one I am using as a face scrubby in conjunction with a company that makes all natural face scrubs.

I have received a request to review 5 different colours of Scrubby and two balls of Handicrafter. Rather than take the time from my crochet addiction to type out multiple reviews, all I can say is I love to work with both these yarns, and they work well together strand by strand. I have always loved Handicrafter Cotton, generally works well out of the skein, and the scrubby is amazingly good coming off the skein, no tangles or issues. Mixing the two yarns provides either great dish cloths or as I have found a wonderful natural exfoliator for my skin. I can't keep in stock. I crochet mine with a bobble stitch and the raised edge of the bobble with the scrubby is remarkable.

Scrubby yarn works so well on pots and pans. It is also easy to knit with. I do wish I could find the color "Jolly", these are such great scrubbies I can't make enough of them and plan on giving them as gifts
