Bernat Maker Home Decor Yarn Great for Rugs
Hi, I ordered this yarn months ago and finally got around to using it. I made several rugs and I am very happy with the yarn. I used two strands of the year and a 6.5 mm hook and the rugs turned out beautiful. I need to add a non slip mat under the rugs, but I don't think there is anyway to avoid this since I have ceramic and hardwood floors throughout the home. I also made a wine cozy, 1 with two strands of yarn and the other with only one strand; both turned out beautiful. I recommend this yarn.

Great stitch definition!
I find that the Bernat Maker Home Decor yarn has a beautiful stitch definition. I am knitting a garter stitch/eyelit hole light poncho for summer weather and it is turning out lovely in the aqua colour. I also love the variegated colours in this yarn. I knit a table runner in the colour Spice Variegated and love the way it turned out.

Beautiful colour!
All of the Bernat Home Maker Dec is so easy to use plus makes a great finished product every time. I have to admit that I initially turned my nose up at the texture but soon learned how wrong I was. Do yourself a favour and five this yarn with it’s great colour options a try.

Great reminder service.
I tried to order Bernat Bome Dec Maker in aqua but it was out of stock. I was told that I would be sent a notice when it was back in stock. I was notified and it was available at the same sale price.

Sturdy easily handled yarn
The yarn is easy to handle for a beginner like me. Texture is solid and looks really nice knitted!! Color was beautiful and even.

Great yarn and love working with it.
First time using this yarn and so pleased with how nice it is to work with. Perfect for making baskets

Soft but stretchy
I prefer knitting with DK and Worsted weight yarns but do make things with bulky yarns too. This one is very soft, cannot split due to its chain construction and looks nice. However, it is very stretchy and I find it difficult to regulate tension doing cables (honeycomb stitch) in the throw I am making. This is a good yarn for decorator items. Probably too much nylon for clothing.
