I dislike using double-pointed needles, a lot, and this size was the only way of avoiding them for the cuff on a sleeve. But yikes they're awkward to use. Basically, I had to hold my two smallest fingers out as if I was holding a fancy teacup. But it was a LOT easier than using a set of four double-pointed needles.
