I've been using this yarn for baby blankets/presentation blankets. The colours are lovely; the yarn is easy on the hands to work with and works up quickly; and parents have told me they love it for its wash-and-wear ease—so perfect for babies!
Some parents have told me how attached their little ones get to their special "blankies" and will carry them everywhere. I think it has a lot to do with the soft, cuddly texture.

Love This Yarn
I have crocheted so many baby blankets and cocoons with this yarn. It’s so soft and with no pattern to worry about it whips up quick. I always get a request for this yarn shortly after a pregnancy is announced. I also put a nice edging around the blanket to make it even more special.

Super Soft but Problematic
This yarn is very soft. However, even as an experienced knitter I found it frustrating to work with as you can not see your stitches. The other big issue is the knots in the ball which are very poorly done. This has lead to a lot of wastage for those that only add yarn at the beginning of row and have a minimum of three rows to avoid future holes when the knots come undone. It would be definitely worth buying an extra ball. Of note I was disappointed with Yarn Canada for sending me a ball of yarn with no label on it so I do not know the dye lot number. Not good customer service.

A second review, as my opinion has changed
I can't figure out how to edit my previous review, which was based on just the first row or crocheting - so I'm adding a second one. While I was initially thrilled with this yarn when I first started using it, I am now extremely disappointed. The yarn feels beautiful and the colours are great but the quality is not what I've come to expect from Bernat. It seems that I can't crochet more than a row or two before finding knots. I'm crocheting two strands together and between the two skeins, it seems I can't go a single row without finding a knot in one strand or the other, and I'm only using 3.5 oz/100g skeins! I don't know if all Pipsqueak yarn is the same,though, as I'm using "Sittin' Pretty." Thankfully, the afghan I am making is a combination of three different kinds of yarn. I'd initially planned on making a whole baby blanket with this yarn, as it feels so soft, but due to the number of knots, I'll be searching for something else.

Absolutely love this yarn. I am currently using it in an Afghan and it is so soft and fluffy. It would be wonderful in a baby afghan. I love the colors and how the yarn works out. I will definitely be on the lookout for more projects that use this yarn. I love how fast this yarn arrived. Yarn Canada is awesome and they are now my go-to place to buy yarn.
