Started in 2005 and made right here in Canada (Halifax, Nova Scotia), Handmaiden yarns are brought to you by the same creators of Fleece Artist yarns. Each skein is made from natural fibers and carefully hand-dyed to perfection. Handmaiden describes themselves as the haute couture of the yarn world and is known for employing artists with an eye for colour. Some of their current employees consist of potters, photographers, textile artists, and jewelers.
